Darling so it goes
Some things are meant to be
Take my hand, take my whole life too
For I can’t help falling in love with you
title: nightmares
rating: PG
characters/pairings: Jaime, Bart, BluePulse
summary: Bart has nightmares, so it’s a good thing he’s got Jaime to chase them away.
author’s note: wow i am just churning out the fic lately sorry. this one is mae’s fault so you can blame her. enjoy! c:Façades are hard to keep up and Bart knows this better than most. They slip. They crack. Sometimes, he thinks he just can’t do it anymore—because it hurts so, so much and he can feel himself crumbling under the weight. But he does. He puts on a brave face for the Team, cracks a few jokes, and no one’s got a clue.
Façades are even harder to keep up while you’re sleeping.
Note: Thanks for the prompt, sorry it took me so long to get around to it!
All fairytales begin something like this: “Once upon a time, in a distant land where the green hills sang with birdsong and the sky shone like sapphire…”
Bart is born in a future where humans are slaves, the Earth is merely a colony in the vast Reach empire and the sky is stained with ash. He never knew his mother, his father, his aunt, or his grandparents. He’s heard the stories, of course: the Heroic Age of Man, when heroes walked the Earth.
But Bart doesn’t believe in heroes. Because they don’t exist.
Title: Symphony
Characters: Bart, Jaime, Tim, almost everyone.
Pairing: A little bit of Bluepulse if you look close.
Summary: When Jaime discovers that Bart knows next to nothing about music, he helps enlist the team to teach him.
Notes: This story came about because of these lovely people: funkypunkr, hero-tales, archaicflash. This is what we do in class. Basically, this is a crazy and bitersweet headcanon turned into a story. Enjoy!
